All most done!!!

Where has the month gone??? I am sorry that I am such a slacker at posting but here is a rundown on how things are.
this week I got to go and help push cows down the mountain with my friend Carol and some neighbors, It was a ton of fun, and even though it was freezing cold (We where in snow the whole time coming from a place where it is still 85 in the afternoons)it was fun. I rode my Beautiful horse Dash (but I think he thought that I was crazy to take him up there).
This week was midterm grades and also UEA weekend so we went to Colorado with my grandparents for some fun. We spent a day at the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park and almost had it all to ourselves, Then we spent a day in Denver and the last day we went to a museum and on a bike ride in Fruta. It was really fun.
Now for the reason that I got to posting, I am like done with my personal progress, (All I need to do is make it to Salt lake to deliver a Quilt to the Primary children's hospital and Write me testimony in the back of the book)so i thought that I would work on posting the last journal entries. so here you go:
Individual worth #3
“Remember the worth of souls is great in the sight of God” (D&C 18:10)
We all have great worth in the sight of God, We are all his children. As I noticed qualities in other people, I came to appreciate qualities that Heavenly father has given me as well as the Qualities that I saw in others. I know that My Heavenly Father lives and that there is so much white in our lives but so little black, Sometimes it is easier to see the Black in others even though there is still a whole bunch more white that we should see. I am grateful for the love that heavenly father has for me that he would send his only begotten son to die that we could live.

Individual worth # 4
I participated in the 2008 Performance Evaluations for the Utah Music Teachers Association. I played “Waltz in Eb” By Muzio Clementi. I got a Superior and was able to play with my Sister, Brinley at another recital later that night. My self-worth extended in getting a good rating and being able to play. I know that we all have worth in the sight of God but sometimes we have to remind ourselves that we have Self-Worth as well and that we can do hard things.

Hope you all have a great day.

  1. Liesl,
What a beautiful blog! You are so wonderful! I am grateful to be your friend. I am grateful to have witnessed your self- worth multiply in the past several months. I pray that you will always remember how much our Heavenly Father, God of Heaven, Creator of this Universe, knows and loves you, his precious, beautiful Daughter! You are a Daughter of God! He loves you. He sends blessings in abundance to those who show gratitude to him, and strive to be instruments in His hands in helping, serving, and comforting others here on this earth. You have so many, many talents. You truly did a beautiful job on your piano performance. That is a beautiful talent I have been blessed to witness come to fruition in your life. I am so grateful for beautiful music in my home! Thank you for making music of sound as well as music of love as you lift and help each of us! As your family we are so grateful for you!

Liesl, you are beautiful! I love you so much! Smile today. Our Heavenly Father loves to see you happy, healthy, thriving! We are grateful that you are “Livin the Dream!” May that always be the case!
