On to Washington

As titled, I am in Washington for the weekend. It took 3 days to get here in a car sitting three across with my cousins. On the way we stopped at the Twin Falls temple and went through the open house. AS we went into the different ordinance rooms you could fell the spirit so strong. We went to the Ceiling room and it went so white and bright and we didn't talk in that room and it was so neat! I love the temple so much and I am grateful that i could get to go inside and feel the spirit.
The next thing that we stopped at was the falls that was really neat and pretty.
We then went to to an underground tour and that was really cool to learn about some history of that town.
yesterday we went to see the fish climb the ladders and that was cool even though there weren't many;)
today sadly we aren't going to church but we are going to Mt. St. Helen's.
I'll write back soon;)

What a Week

What a week it has been.
I haven't been home for a full week for 3 weeks and I will be gone for a about 3 more weeks. If any one has any ideas on what I should do for my horse, Lady who know is getting eaten alive by flies because she is allergic to the fly spray that should be all natural and also the one that I used all summer last year please tell me.
I finally got pictures on my blog, can you believe it???
Last week was so fun, we went to SLC and played with my cousins. We went hiking, boating, swimming, and had a family party with all of my Grandpa's side of the family. On the 4th we went and took the Tram at Snowbird and then hiked down (Or should I say "bum slide"). It was so fun.
I have just finished (4 or 5 days ago) a book about Emma Smith. It was a really cool book. I learned so much about what she went through although it was a novel I knew most of the events that were included. She lost 5 children. She lost the approval of her father and was disowned from her family. She lost her husband, and she was always helping others before herself. I really admire her.
That is enough for today but I will post later.

Emma Smith

alue="http://www.youtube.com/v/HaH_OKPO-zs&hl=en">
I just saw this up on the computer and thought of how much that Emma Smith has gone through. I am reading the book called "Emma, a women of faith" and thought that this clip resembled just a tiny part of what she went through.
Emma is my Hero. She went through so much for this church. She lost 3 sons before she could have one that lived, she lost the respect of her Father because he thought that she was a fool for marrying Joseph Smith. She helped translate the Gold plates but wouldn't even think about taking even just a little peek at the plates even when she knew that others had seen them.
I realy look up to her and if i had to choose two Women that I would want to be like it would be My MOM and Emma Smith.
I pray that I can become Half as Great Women as these two women are.
I Love My Savior Jesus Christ and know that He lives. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet called for these latter-days. I know that the Book Of Mormon was brought forth at this time to help us. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen

WOW! I can't believe that I haven't posted since May 20th!
Last Week (May 26th-May31st) I took my member friend to EFY and it was AMAZING! The Whole week was the most spiritual week in my life, there were a lot of miracles.
Starting at the beginning:
On Friday (May23rd) Kylea's Dad Don decided to let Kylea go to EFY with me at BYU. Then on Monday we went to register/check in. When we got there we where told that we needed to show up at 10:00 to get on a list for any cancellations that they would have that day and then we should come back to 12:45 and get registered. Well is didn't quite work that way. When we got to there all the people that were supposed to be there weren't there and they wouldn't be there for a half hour. Grandpa dropped us of and then left so we were alone for a half hour waiting (this was a good thing since Grandpa would of gotten Mad). When it can time to register there wasn't a list to put her name on and they told us that there wasn't any way that she could get in. the lady talked to mom and then finally said that she would try to work it out and to just hang out for a while. by know it is raining, so we hid our stuff under a over hang and then went to the subway that was about 3 blocks away.
We did get in and got to be roommates (a plus) and had a great week. On Tuesday she started asking questions about the church and by Thursday at testimony meeting she shocked me by getting up and saying that she had felt that she was supposed to be here and that she knew that all the classes (I had tried to get her to go to the classes that wouldn't by so overwhelming but she wanted to go to some ones that would go into depth about the church and other things) and such was the truth. Later that night we found out that two of the girls in our group didn't have a Dad that was worthy to hold the Priesthood and one of those girls didn't have a Mom that believed either. Kylea started asking questions about what would happen to her and her parents after they died.
On Sunday after we had gotten home I was reading my Scriptures and was thinking/asking what I could say to Kylea about the church and so forth and I found this Scripture:
Mattew 10:18-20
18 And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.

19 But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.

20 For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

And that hit me so hard because I know that it was true.
Later that day I felt impressed to ask her to come to youth conference with my last weekend and she asked while she was still on that phone and said Yes!
At youth conference there was a ward that are her backdoor neighbors that was there and so that made it a little more comfortable and we had a BLAST!!!
